Mitteis benefit is November 7

Written October 26th, 2015

Bryce and Kelsey Mitteis of Verdigre welcomed their twins, Drake and Henley, into the world on September 23, 2015, which was a lot earlier than expected. The twins weren’t due until December, so they remain in Sioux Falls, S.D., where they are still receiving medical care.

Kelsey is the 4th grade teacher at Verdigre Public School where she also coaches track and volleyball. She is also a member of the Verdigre Public School Foundation.

There will be a benefit for the family’s medical and transportation expenses at the ZCBJ Hall in Verdigre on November 7, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Watch the Husker game while utilizing the cash bar and enjoying snacks. A DJ will entertain following the game, ending the evening right. The Hall doors will open at 4:00.

Raffle tickets are available as well, with prizes including an AR 15 rifle, an U.S. Olympic jersey signed by Jordan Larson (#1 volleyball player in the world) and five bags of seed corn. The cost of the tickets are $10 each and you need not be present to win. Proceeds benefit the Mitteis family.

Accounts have been set up for the family at Brunswick State Bank, P.O. Box 131, Winnetoon, NE 68789 and at Midwest Bank, P.O. Box 60, Creighton, NE 68729.
